When your boiler is running daily they are prone to develop small faults which can make the boiler more expensive to run because they use more oil. Parts wear down,  some parts in your boiler such as the oil jet nossel should be replaced every year.  Sometime you can hear the occasional judder and protest when you use more than our usual amount of hot water. This can indicate a general reduction in energy efficiency.
